Lernhive (“Lernhive”, “we”, “us”) is operated by NYRAI LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who controls the data

Lernhive is used by teachers, tutors, and schools (“organizations”) to run their classes. The organization is the controller of its students’ and families’ records; Lernhive acts as a service provider that stores and processes that data on the organization’s behalf.

What we collect

• Account data — name, email, phone, role (teacher, student, parent), and the organization you belong to.
• Class data — classes, schedules, attendance, practice logs, progress notes, skills, badges, and report cards you enter.
• Payment data — tuition amounts and status. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data — basic app/diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the app’s features (attendance, scheduling, progress, tuition), to process payments, to keep the service secure, and to respond to support requests. That’s it.

Children’s data

Classes may include students who are minors. Records about students are entered and controlled by their organization and are visible only to that student, their linked parent/guardian, and the organization’s staff. Organizations are responsible for obtaining any parental consent required by law before adding a student.

Sharing & processors

We share data only with infrastructure providers that operate the service under contract: Supabase (database & authentication hosting) and Stripe (payment processing). Each row of data is fenced to its own organization. We may disclose data if required by law.

Retention & deletion

We keep data while your account/organization is active. You can delete your account and data from within the app, or email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly, subject to any records we must retain for legal or tax reasons.
